These are my two posters that created as part of the poster assignment. I wanted to create posters encouraging school spirit and participation in sports so I created a poster for Western Basketball and Western Soccer. For both of the images, I took action scenes of the sports and put them in the background. Both also have a logo and a slogan/message that help get the point of the poster across. I think these would be effective in encouraging people to come to games or maybe even try to participate in them themselves. The best place for these to be posted would be throughout the school, including staircases, the cafeteria, and near the gym. Digital Imaging could either distribute the posters to the teams themselves or I could post them throughout the school for them. Either way it would be a graphically fun way motivate people to get involved in Western's sports.

Kaleidoscope
This is my kaleidoscope that I created from scratch. I used the Blue Lightning TV tutorial to make this image which was very fast and easy to follow. I really like the way this turned out, although it could be brighter. The kaleidoscope does not really resemble the original image but looks cool either way. Below is the original for a comparison of the two pictures and the effects created. Because of the tutorial, I now have a kaleidoscope action that I can apply to any image with the click of a button.

Second Glance Project
(Original Picture)
This is my Second Glance Project. The original picture (as seen above) was taken by myself in Skagen, Denmark. I picked this specific picture because it is fairly busy and therefore contains more options to edit while not being too obvious. There are a total of 10 edits on this image (the edited image is below). Can you spot all of them? The answers are in the final image at the bottom. I found this project very fun in trying to create a "puzzle" that was semi-hard and had some very subtle edits. I also learned more about Photoshop and its many editing features. I highly recommend this project!
