Pixlr.com Edit

This is a simple yet cool edit I did to a picture I grabbed off of the internet in Pixlr.com!! It is very simple with many options and filters. I LOVE THIS SITE!!!!!!!

Photo505.com Edit

This is a quick filter I put on my inside and out project! I used Photo505.com for this and I personally think it looks awesome!

New Sites

Photo Editing Sites
Adam and Daniel

Photo505.com:
This site offers many filters and filters that help make the image pop and more pleasing to the eye. It is really easy to use, a little too easy. This site is great to slightly edit an image but compared to Photoshop CS5 it is nothing. The only options on this website only edit an image and its appearance slightly while in Photoshop practically anything is possible! This is why only amateurs and teenagers use this site because Photoshop is really complex and hard to master. Overall this website is a great source for simple filters and edits for the everyday user.

                                                                       Pixlr.com:
This site offers many options including 600 effects, overlays, borders, and cropping options. This website is very helpful to everyone because it has three skill levels that you can choose from. Playful, Efficient, and Advanced are all included on this site. Playful is very simple and basic where you can add filters and different color corrections. Efficient is a little freer with the options available. In this program you can add text, stickers, borders, as well as the basic filters. Advanced has a surprising resemblance to Photoshop. It has the same appearance and almost all of the tools that Photoshop has. This is a wonderful website with the most editorial options out of the sites I have reviewed.

                                                                 Picmonkey.com
This website offers a variety of adjustments that you can use on your very own photos.  Something that’s very cool about this website is that it is very well organized and really easy to use. I didn’t have any trouble at all finding what I wanted to use. It’s comparable to Photoshop in the sense you can edit pictures but you can’t really do anything else with this sight. This site is mainly for teenage girls; it has a whole section just for make up adjustments. The designs and themes for pictures are somewhat feminine and the website itself looks feminine. You could link it to your website, but make a note that this website is mainly for girls.

                                                                 Splashup.com
Splashup.com is really similar to the photo shop we use in class. You can insert different images and use layers. There are many different filters to choose from. It also offers a huge variety of tools to use to edit or enhance your photos. It is as easy to use as photo shop, so if you know how to use photo shop you will not have any difficulties using this website. It seems like this website is for anyone that wants to edit photos. I don’t think you should link this to your website because it is too similar to the photo shop we use.

Inside/Outside Anatomy

This is my Inside/Outside Anatomy project which went really well. It was hard at first to create this but after some help on youtube I realized it was quite simple. It took my a couple tries to complete this project and I think my final result is awesome!! I loved this project because of the creativity and the look of my work

Marla Project

This is my final marla project. I loved this project and the movie!!! It was hard to get the effects perfect and to actually find them in all the options that are possible in photoshop! I am loving this class so much.

Picture Project

This is my final peice of artwork for this project. It took a while to line up the pictures and not distort them but I did it. This project was extremely fun because I got to play with different effects and filters. I also like the border I put in because I love nature and it looks very nice.

Color in Life

These are my pictures that I chose for color in Life. I took the Western Albemarle picture with Daniel, Gill, and Andrew. I received my other pictures from the internet. This project was fun but I have yet to understand why we did it.

Two Amazing Artists

This piece by Raoul Middleman really touches me because of the realization of the impact we have on earth. I also love the colors and different shades used to create shadows and the perspective of where the sun is located. This paintings makes me want to go out and pick up trash. I basically want to help the earth after seeing such a dirty place.
This artwork done by David A. Klausen doesn't inspire me but rather makes me feel warm inside. With all of the reds and oranges it makes me feel a sense of warmth and comfort. I also love this painting because of the colors. They really pop and help the viewer realize the amount of work put into this piece. One other aspect I love about this painting is that it is abstract. I love trying to figure out what something is when it is not clear. Its like an art puzzle.

King Cobra

This is my final and last visual pun which consists of a King Cobra! The reason it is black is because i used threshold as I was directed to do in the instructions. This project was fun because we got to choose what we wanted to create but I didn't like using threshold because It made the image look less impressive. The colors of the original image were very bright and made the picture shock you.

Pluto

This is my third visual pun showing the planet Pluto as the Disney Cartoon Dog. It was very simple to create and extremely fun! This particular background showed me how small we are compared to the other parts of the universe.

Dragon Fly

My second visual pun. Its a Dragon Fly with a beautiful background. Its hard to think of my next one but I think I might do a Highway.

15 Green Things

This project was very fun but very challenging aswell.  I had trouble incorporating some of the 15 pictures into the picture. But overall this was very fun due to the immense amounts of freedom and creativity one could put into their creation.

Mystery Shark

I present to you my creation of  the Mystery Shark. All of this was done in photoshop and I really enjoyed it. We had lots of freedom in our creativity and the options we could choose. It took my about 2-3 classes for my to fully finish my animal and I think it turned out amazing. It was hard to erase the backgrounds of the original pictures to get only the body part of the animal. The transitions between the different animals body parts was difficult aswell but I am proud of my work!

Explosion!

In this image I edited this photo below to take out the cars and portray a pure explosion. It worked out well and looks like a real explosion. I love the fill in tool it makes editing pictures very easy and it does not distort or change the edited image.

Music Project!

This Project was about Music. We had to follow many guidelines which restricted our ability to be creative and open minded. I enjoyed this project alot but I wanted more freedom to be able to create my own image. This is the reason why I loved to option of creating your own background in which I made a beautiful beach scene!
